Description

Spidi DP Progressive Pro Race Suit The SPIDI DP Progressive Pro has been designed in collaboration with Aldo Drudi. Its unique design celebrates speed and color, inspired by MotoGP culture and road racing heritage. Dedicated to safety and performance lovers, DP Progressive Pro is CE certified to the prEN 17092-2:2020 Class AAA standard and has a main chassis of tough 1.1 to 1.3mm Italian leather, with elastic high-tenacity nylon in flex areas – offering extreme abrasion resistance. Each suit includes CE-certified En 1621-1:2012 shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee armor, with a pocket for a level 1 or level 2 Warrior Back protector and a pocket for a Warrior Chest protector. Both the upper knees and shoulders have accordion-leather panels for all-day comfort, while localized leather perforation guarantees a perfect air flow in warmest days. To keep you hydrated at the track the suit has an arrangement for holding a Hydroback bag and straw, while the removable mesh lining gives you the opportunity to maintain the suit clean with frequent washing. A streamlined aerodynamic end-piece is fitted to the back to assist with aerodynamics, and the suit has adjustable and removable racing knee and elbow sliders. Features: Force-Tech removable CE certified EN 1621-1:2012 elbow armor Warrior certificate EN 1621-1 Lev. 1 shoulder armor Fixed hip protectors CE certified according to EN 1621-1:2012 Racing removable knee protectors certified CE EN 1621-1:2012 Warrior shields on shoulders and elbows Streamlined end-piece Adjustable and removable racing knee slider Arrangement for back protector CE Level 1 Part: Z54 CE Level 2 Z147 – S79 – Z172 Arrangement for Warrior chest protector Lev. 1 Z138 CE: Protective motorcycle gear according to the (UE)2016/454 Regulation. PPE protective apparel for motorcycle use – EN 17092-2: 2020 CE Class AAA garment certified Quick Tips for Race Suit Fit: Made for riding, not for standing – Try on the suit & crouch into a full-tuck position (arms extended & knees bent.) Race suits are made to fit best in the riding position, making them uncomfortable to wear while standing upright. Second skin fit – In the riding position, the suit should fit snugly against your body without any excess fabric bunching and shouldn’t restrict movement or breathing. Account for ALL the gear – Wear all of your track gear when you try-on the suit to check for compatibility and proper fit. This includes: airbag, armor, back protector, base layer, boots, gloves, socks and yes… even your helmet! Like peas in a pod – Race suit sleeves are tapered to fit within full length gauntlet gloves & legs are tapered to fit within full height race boots. Break-in period – Keep in mind that leather stretches about 3-5% after the first few wears.
