The unmistakable German engineering and radical, compact shell design of the Schuberth C5 set a new standard for premium modular touring helmets. Featuring a new liner and the same 2 shell sizes (XS-LG, XL-3XL), the lean form of the Schuberth C5 Helmet has been extensively optimized for both stability at speed and low weight to minimize fatigue on long tours. Features: Aerodynamically tuned shell to mitigate fatigue Integrated one touch sun visor Complex multichannel ventilation system Integrated antenna Pre-installed speakers Plug & Play prepared for the SC2 communication system Clear face shield with extra large anti-fog lens insert include for superior vision Premium, wicking interior liner and cheek pads are removable for cleaning Adjust the interior to be a long oval or round oval fit with optional Custom Fit Head Pad Kit (Sizes MD-XL ONLY) 2 shells: XS-LG, XL-3XL DOT certified Outer Shell: The outer shell of the Schuberth C5 Globe Helmet is constructed using an innovative proprietary method called Direct Fiber Processing (DFP). A continuous strand of glass yarn is robotically precision cut and blown outward into position in the mold. An exacting amount of resin and heat are added under high pressure, yielding a shell of superior strength that is no thicker in any one area than it needs to be. DFP Glass fiber heat-formed shell Glass fiber with a special resin is compressed in a vacuum at high pressure to form a helmet shell which is exceptionally sturdy Perfected aerodynamics for high speed stability Directionally stable No oscillatory tendency No buffeting Spoiler integrated into the helmet shell/neckroll Interior: New SCHUBERTH INDIVIDUAL PROGRAM for unparalleled comfort allows you to customize internal padding thicknesses (extra pads sold separately) Bluetooth System: The C5 Helmet comes equipped to accommodate the latest Bluetooth Communication Systems (sold separately). To guarantee ideal reception, the C5 comes out of the box with integrated antennae to boost reception, as well as pre-installed speakers. Integrated antennae for optimum reception at all times Pre-installed speakers Plug & Play prepared for the any compatible Bluetooth System EPS: The EPS foam impact liner uses a sectional, multi-part design to ensure the highest shock absorption for various impact scenarios. This complex segmentation guarantees enhanced force absorption and distribution. Made of specially-optimized EPS foam Complex multi-zone sections allows optimal shock absorption Ventilation: The Schuberth C5 features an intricately designed multi-channel ventilation system inside the helmet shell, resulting in extraordinarily quiet, substantial air flow. Inlets in the forehead and chin area ensure that you keep a cool head.
