Description

Fly Racing Dirt Youth Formula CC Glide Helmet Experience a new standard in safety with the Fly Racing Dirt Youth Formula CC Glide Helmet. This advanced headgear employs a complex, adaptive impact system designed not just to lessen the likelihood of skull fractures, but also to reduce the risk of serious concussions for young riders. At the forefront of Fly’s defense strategy are the Impact Energy Cells, fortified with RHEON, which strategically deploy seven energy cells throughout the helmet to enhance energy absorption during an impact. These cells leverage the cutting edge viscoelastic properties of RHEON material, optimizing protection at crucial moments. In tandem with the Impact Energy Cells, Fly features their patented Conehead EPS technology, which works in concert with expanded volume EPS in six critical areas of the helmet. This innovative combination is calibrated to respond effectively to varying impact velocities, both low and high speed. The benefit of the Conehead EPS configuration includes the creation of a lighter and softer foam, providing dual advantages: a reduction in the helmet’s overall weight for improved rider comfort and an increase in the helmet’s ability to manage impact energy across different collision scenarios. Adaptive Impact System: Tri-Weave Composite Shell: Comprised of carbon fiber, DuPont Kevlar and fiberglass, producing a lightweight shell with superior penetration resistance Impact Energy Cells: Made of RHEON, the Impact Energy Cells maximize absorption of low speed linear and rotational impacts, reducing forces transmitted to the brain Conehead EPS Technology: Provides a softer liner whereby the cones help manage or absorb an impact force more efficiently. Six critical zones have been fine tuned for a progressive response to low speed and high speed impacts Expanded volume EPS: Strategic areas of the helmet have more impact absorbing EPS, more suspension between your head and the ground Features: EPP (Expanded Polypropylene) chin bar Clavicle shell relief zone Custom molded rubber trim with an integrated nose guard Lightweight custom visor screws and titanium alloy D-rings Anti-microbial, quick-release comfort liner and cheek pads TFV (True Functional Ventilation) intake and exhaust vents with EPS vent channels Meets or exceeds ECE and DOT standards
