AXIAL AX2 Air Back Protector The new AX2 Air Back Protectors deliver unparalleled ventilation, ideally suited for mesh jackets to maximize air circulation during summer rides. These protectors incorporate a geometric lattice that optimizes efficiency, providing CE level 2 protection while effectively dispersing impact energy to reduce heat accumulation under harsh temperatures. The dimensions have been meticulously refined for better compatibility with back protector pockets, although this particular model cannot be customized through trimming. Distinct from other AX2 protectors, the AX2 Air utilizes consistent Newtonian material for flexibility, diverging from the non-Newtonian AVP material which hardens upon impact to distribute the force. Features: Ventilated hyper elastic injected PU polymer Lightweight, ergonomic design Impact energy is evenly dispersed Thinner and more ventilated than AX2 back protectors 63% more ventilation than AX2 CE Level 2 Certified Meets the requirements of CE EN 1621-2:2014 Level 2 Fitment: BILT: All jackets fit MD back protector, with the exception of the Arcadia Women’s Jacket which fits SM back protector Sedici: All jackets fit MD back protector Street & Steel: All jackets fit MD back protector, with the exception of the Nightstar Women’s Vest which fits SM back protector REAX: XS-MD men’s jackets fit MD back protector, LG-3XL men’s jackets fit LG back protector All REAX women’s jackets fit MD back protector Other Brands: Measure pocket and choose a size based on the dimensions below Dimensions: SM – 12.6” x 8.6” X .59” – (32cm x22cm x 1.5cm) MD – 14.9” x 11” x .59” – (38cm x 28cm x 1.5cm) LG – 16.9” x 11.8” x .59” – (43cm x 30cm x 1.5cm)
