Each sprocket is CNC machined from C45 normalized steel, a material process that helps prevent internal micro-cracks and maintain structural integrity under extreme loads. To reduce drive line wear, AFAM uses induction hardened teeth to create a durable outer layer that extends the life of both the sprockets and chain. Designed to remain round, flat, and concentric, they use AFAM’s proprietary tooth profile for smoother power delivery and improved safety. A silver zinc plating or black electrophoresis finish adds lasting protection against rust and corrosion.
