AFAM Self Cleaning Rear Steel Sprocket AFAM Rear Steel Sprockets are built for precision, strength, and long service life, delivering dependable aftermarket power transfer for street and off-road riders. Each sprocket is CNC machined from C45 normalized steel, a material process that helps prevent internal micro-cracks and maintain structural integrity under extreme loads. To reduce drive line wear, AFAM uses induction hardened teeth to create a durable outer layer that extends the life of both the sprockets and chain. Designed to remain round, flat, and concentric, they use AFAM’s proprietary tooth profile for smoother power delivery and improved safety. A silver zinc plating or black electrophoresis finish adds lasting protection against rust and corrosion. Features: Self-cleaning off-road SLK models feature a lightweight, new-generation black electrophoresis design with integrated mud grooves to shed debris in extreme conditions like MXGP, sand races, and the Dakar Rally CNC machined using normalized steel to eliminate material defects and micro-cracks for reliable, high-stress performance Induction hardened teeth significantly reduces wear on both the sprocket and drive chain AFAM tooth profile engineered to be perfectly concentric, flat, and round for seamless chain engagement and smooth power output Protective anti-corrosion finish Note: Images are for reference only.
