Spidi Supersonic Pro Perforated Race Suit The Supersonic Pro is podium-focused race suit with an unprecedented level of comfort and toughness. Revised construction techniques for this suit begins with 1.1-1.3mm Italian cowhide. The large, unbroken panels of leather are then joined with high-tenacity nylon stretch inserts. Mobility at the impact zones is achieved with accordion leather flex panels, as found at the upper knees and shoulders. CE Level 1 armor for shoulders, elbows, hips and knees is included, and the suit will accept Spidi’s Warrior style chest and back protectors (sold separately). Localized perforation and arrangements for an optional hydration bladder and straw help you keep your cool. A removable mesh liner makes upkeep on the Supersonic Pro Suit a breeze. Race suits are made to fit best in the riding position, making them uncomfortable to wear while standing upright. Second skin fit – In the riding position, the suit should fit snugly against your body without any excess fabric bunching and shouldn’t restrict movement or breathing. Account for ALL the gear – Wear all of your track gear when you try-on the suit to check for compatibility and proper fit. This includes: airbag, armor, back protector, base layer, boots, gloves, socks and yes… even your helmet! Like peas in a pod – Race suit sleeves are tapered to fit within full length gauntlet gloves & legs are tapered to fit within full height race boots. Break-in period – Keep in mind that leather stretches about 3-5% after the first few wears.
