Shad TR36 Terra Side Case Built for the needs of long-distance adventuring, Shad Terra Side Cases feature forged aluminum construction, stainless steel hinges and locking mechanisms as well as a robust case-to-rack latching system. Unlike other side case latching designs that use a key-hole-and-nail-head approach, Terra cases grab onto the over-sized steel tubing of Shad 4P series racks with an array of C-channels for better engagement and load distribution. Another unique feature of Terra cases is the clam shell opening. TR36 Side Cases give a rider instant access to their packed gear instead of having to unload things from the top. Terra Cases use a single lock cylinder to open and close the case and disconnect the case from its rack. Terra cases are compatible with Shad 4P side case racks which feature a cross-member for off-road applications. To preserve symmetry and handling, this TR36 Side Case is intended to be installed on the exhaust side of a motorcycle as it has a shallower depth than the TR47 Side Case. Features: Aluminum construction Stainless steel hinges, locking mechanism and handle Compatible with Shad 4P and 3P series side case racks only Waterproof pyramidal seal with double stepped profile Right side cases include an inner mesh net plus 2 keys and 3 lock cylinders (for use with additional side and top cases) Optional Shad X0TR01 Internal Cargo Net for Left Side cases (sold separately) Optional Shad X0IB47 Inner Soft Bag available (sold separately) 36 liter capacity 49.5cm L x 41.8cm H x 28.2cm D (19.5″ L x 16.5″ H x 11.1″ D) Sold each Note: Shad 4P series side case racks are sold separately.
