Arai Signet-X Helmet Step into the future with the Arai Signet-X Helmet. Arai took its famous long-oval head shape helmet, the Signet-Q and redesigned it for the next generation of riders. Built into the Signet-X are a multitude of comfort features, including a VAS MAX Vision face shield, odor resistant liner, over-sized chin curtain and speaker pockets just to name a few. The emergency cheek pad tabs, which before were only featured on the Corsair series are now designed into the Arai Signet-X Helmet. In keeping with the “improve on what works” mentality of Arai, the QVF & QVR upper ventilation ducts look familiar but offer more adjustment and better flow. The Super Complex Laminate shell design combines multiple materials and techniques created internally by Arai that delivers both performance and safety. Note: The Signet-X is a long oval head shape, which means it runs narrow with less room on the sides and more room at the front/back of the head. Be sure to verify your head shape when choosing the proper size. This helmet may not be a good fit for riders with a round oval head shape. PB SCLC Shell: Peripherally Belted – Super Complex Laminate Construction shell Design combines multiple materials and techniques created internally by Arai that deliver both performance and affordability Shell has superb tensile strength due to a variety of carefully-positioned materials and light weight resin VAS Shield System: VAS (Variable Axis System) shield and side pods are exclusive to the Arai Corsair X Helmet Variable axis (moving pivot point) allows shield mount position to be lower than most helmets Dual function lever releases both the side pod and the face shield for quick and simple face shield removal VAS Shield Latch System: Captures and holds the face shield closed securely Provides a de-mist position to slightly crack the shield open Larger latch design allows for intuitive and seamless operation VAS V MV Shield: VAS MAX Vision face shield Provides excellent visibility in all seasons Includes clear anti-fog Pinlock insert Ventilation: QVF and QVR upper ventilation ducts offer adjustment and airflow performance Vents are easy to operate with gloved hands Interior: 5mm peel-away cheek pads Speaker pockets Safety: Snell M2025 certified and DOT approved Cheek Pads have Emergency Release Tabs
